Refund Policy
Last Updated: June 20, 2026
Arkvas provides digital services and informational tools. Due to the nature of digital access and account-based services, the following terms apply to all purchases made by users of the platform.
Attorney listing arrangements and sponsor agreements are separate commercial relationships governed by their own written agreements and are not subject to this Refund Policy.
1. Purchase Types
Arkvas offers two distinct purchase types, each subject to different refund terms:
Dashboard Access ($29.00 one-time)
Dashboard access is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. When you purchase dashboard access, you receive access to the dashboard for the lifetime of your account, subject to the inactivity policy described in the Terms of Use. No further charge will occur for dashboard access unless you initiate a new purchase following account deletion.
Policy Alert Subscription ($7.00/month)
The Policy Alert Subscription is a recurring monthly subscription that renews automatically every 30 days until cancelled. By activating the subscription, you authorize Arkvas to charge $7.00 USD to your payment method on file at the start of each billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to policy alerts through the last day of the period already paid for.
2. General Non-Refundability
Dashboard Access
Dashboard access purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted. By completing a purchase and affirmatively accepting these terms at checkout, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Policy Alert Subscription
Subscription charges are generally non-refundable. No partial-month refunds are issued upon cancellation. Your access continues through the end of the billing period in which you cancel, after which no further charges occur.
Account Deletion
If your account is deleted for any reason, including inactivity or your own request, no refund is issued for any remaining dashboard access or active subscription period. Account deletion is permanent and irrecoverable. See the Terms of Use for the full account inactivity and deletion policy.
3. Exceptions
Arkvas may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis where:
- A duplicate charge occurred due to a technical error.
- A confirmed technical issue on Arkvas's end prevented access to purchased features or policy alerts for more than 72 consecutive hours, and the issue was not resolved despite a support ticket being submitted within that period.
- A billing error was made by Arkvas.
Refund requests based on exceptions must be submitted within 30 days of the original charge. Requests submitted after 30 days will not be considered. Exceptions apply to both the dashboard access purchase and the Policy Alert Subscription where the qualifying condition is met.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel the Policy Alert Subscription at any time through your dashboard account settings. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation takes effect, no further charges will occur and access to policy alerts will end at the close of the final paid period.
If you cancel and later wish to reactivate, you may do so through your dashboard account settings. Reactivation initiates a new billing cycle beginning on the date of reactivation.
If your account is terminated by Arkvas for cause, your subscription is cancelled immediately and no refund is issued for any remaining days in the current billing period.
5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Arkvas encourages users to contact support before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or card issuer. If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting Arkvas, Arkvas reserves the right to suspend or terminate the user's account during the pendency of the dispute. Arkvas will cooperate with the user's financial institution and provide documentation of the purchase and service delivery.
Initiating a chargeback for a subscription charge after cancellation has already been processed and access has been provided through the end of the billing period does not constitute a valid dispute. Arkvas will contest such chargebacks and provide supporting documentation.
6. How to Submit a Refund Request
Refund requests should be submitted through the in-platform support ticket system available in your dashboard, or by contacting:
Arkvas
Please include your account email, the date of the charge, the amount charged, the purchase type (dashboard access or Policy Alert Subscription), and a description of the issue. Arkvas will respond to all refund requests within 10 business days.
7. Arkvas's Right to Deny
Arkvas reserves the right to deny refund requests where platform access or usage has already occurred and no qualifying exception applies. This applies to both purchase types.
